Tambo Colorado – Private Tour
Discover the finest Inca complex on the Peruvian coast. Tambo Colorado was an Inca settlement (1450 AD) built of adobe and is one of the best-preserved sites in the country. It takes its name from the predominance of the color red on its walls. It was a major administrative, military, and ceremonial center that controlled the route from the coast to the Andes.
On this tour, you will travel through the Pisco Valley, its small towns, and along the Pisco River until you reach the archaeological complex.
